Just joined but have been a big gurus fan for many years.... first time I saw them was on the kinky tour at newtown....

Hoodoo gurus are the best live band I have seen and I have seen alot of bands in my time....

I am looking forward to the new album the single sounds awesome.... good to here about the producer being same as for kinky and crank.... they are two of my favs..... I have them on my mp3 player permanently

Thanks guys for rocking on and I will see you at "a day on the green"

Welcome to the Forum Paul.

Reminded me of my first Gurus gig, which was 1985 at (the now defunct) Bombay Rock at the Gold Coast - good memories...

I'm so happy to have found this forum, too!

Love the new song, can't wait for the album!

p.s. is "album" the correct term these days? vinyl must not die!

Just joined the forum myself.
First saw the Gurus back in the early 80's at the Southern Cross Hotel which is now the Strawberry Hills Hotel.

Wow,the Bombay Rock, had a few good nights there while on holiday, saw Midnight Oil there back to back nights,Garret stopping the show midway to give us an anti nuclear rant.Kinda killed the momentum.
